Charlotte Miller has worked and exhibited as an artist in West Dorset for over twenty years. Her paintings are inspired by the beautiful landscape and coastal paths surrounding her home.

Walking within hidden valleys and along the unspoilt paths of the Jurassic Coast offers the opportunity for sketching and observation, this is then developed into paintings in the studio. There is particular interest in the rural architecture found on these walks, where barns set within a raw winter landscape may invite the viewer to explore beyond along tangled and hidden paths. Seascape paintings are evocative of seasonal coastal paths where flowers and winter grasses frame a huge sea beyond.

Charlotte works mainly in her preferred medium of oils on hand stretched canvases and smaller works on primed paper.

of 6 Bridport Artists and Artists of the Jurassic Coast exhibitions in spring and autumn respectively. Commissions are available.
